The Power of the Prophet
The power of the prophet (not profit) is not the staff that he carries; it is not how strong he is, it is not how rich he is, it is not how well he dresses. The power of the prophet is not how loud he speaks, not even how determined or intimidating he looks. The power of the prophet is the message confirmed in the Word of God that comes out of his mouth! It's the two-edged sword aligned with his tongue. The living Word is what holds power! It is not the prophet's vocabulary, it is the power manifesting when the living God issues a living Word that brings about change in the life of those who do not resist it. The power to bring about change... that's the power of the prophet!!
