The Jewelry Box!

Understanding is the silver and wisdom is the gold. After God anointed me as a teacher in the Body of Christ, He gave me a dream/vision of a big box the size of a coffee table. It looked like a big jewelry box. The box did not open from the top; it had slim, elongated drawers that slide out towards the front, one upon another, from the top to the bottom. I looked into two or three of the drawers and they were filled with gemstones. Each drawer had gems of the same color and type (for example one drawer all rubies; one all diamonds; another all sapphires). The gems were different sizes and they were placed in the drawer in the pattern of a dartboard lying flat. The bullseye would always contain the biggest gem. Those drawers of gems represented different types of wisdom. In addition, the biggest gem in the middle was the key area of wisdom that linked all the rest. It is one of the most beautiful things God has shown me.

The revelation was that believers are the jewelry boxes and if you allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, your box will be full:

Prov 20:15

15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

KJV

People have misconstrued multitudes of verses in the Bible, speaking about people of God being rich, as pertaining only to carnal things when the majority of times it's pertaining to spiritual riches. The example God gives us of the perfect church, Smyrna, is that they were poor in carnal things but rich in the spiritual things of God. Their jewelry boxes were full.

Rev 2:9

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)... (KJV)

In Laodicea, you find a church speaking of all they have, as if gain means godliness, which Paul warned us about in 1 Tim 6. In the things of this world they were rich, but in spiritual things, their jewelry boxes were full of dust and cobwebs. Yet Christ had appointed an angel over each church and this shows they had access to Christ's treasure house. Do you realize that God's wisdom is like a treasure house? When Christ opens His mouth, He is giving us access to silver, gold, and precious jewels. Moreover, His gold was tested in the fiery trials He went through to prove it was pure gold:

Prov 16:16

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

KJV

Prov 8:19

19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

KJV

So when Christ told the Laodicea church to come and buy gold tested in the fire so they might be rich, He was telling them to come to Him and buy wisdom that had been tested. It took Him through the suffering, trials, and tribulations of the cross and showed through His resurrection that it was true wisdom. Christ's wisdom was pure gold sent down by the Father from heaven. We have to hold on to this truth that real riches are with God and are accessed through Christ. These treasures do not perish like those of this world.
